Reminds me of the guy in middle school who could not take my sister (his gf) to the college dance trigger his religion (Christian something) did not allow"ancestral clinics" or some bs. Like you can date but not dancing to the cha cha slide?
Aside from that my cousins had/have a pretty similar insult to you personally it sounds. Homeschooled, super spiritual, barely any friends. The one who's over 18 tried to visit an ultra conservative school and ended up leaving due to stress problems. Like yeah, if your kids don't have any choice in their lives you believe that they'll be fine after out of your care?
They visit frequently but there is like nothing to do. If their mother catches me enjoying the change along with my littlest cousin (he's 15 I believe, his switch) she will say that he's used it enough today and we are back to square one
They had some REALLY backwards fucked up things going on and eventually dissolved into 20+ additional market groups which are still around today.
It's a sandbox construction game... you build whatever you would like to build. But that does not imply that a small child playing the game will be exposed to this.
I also probably wouldn't have watched the music video if so many people wouldn't have left such a huge deal about it. These are the same sorts of individuals that had the parental advisory sticker put on records and shot the sales through the roof.
And it still blows my mind they are in their twenties and understand absolutely nothing about Harry Potter. It may also signify that Supergiant is a studio that is smaller, so just do not have the tools to focus on more than PC/Mac and one console at a time. I'd be willing to bet that Sony helped bring the first 3 games to his or her platform, and it would not surprise me if Nintendo assisted on Hades - the amount of effort Nintendo has invested pushing the match is a symptom of that. Whether or not that includes exclusivity deals, can't say.
Fundamentally it seems they pick whichever is the most popular console at the time for the first release. That makes sense to me. It probably requires a great deal of development resources for a small team to support each new SKU, and realistically, how many people out there are considering indie games but do not have a PC, Mac or Switch to play with them on? Probably not enough to create the other vents a big priority.
Whether they are able to reuse a lot of these switch/PC cross-save function and apply it to consoles or should they have to learn how it functions for every console and program it differently could severely affect the job required for vents. My guess is they would just do xbox/PC and PS5/PC cross-saves, and not something like switch/xbox such as. But if they did want to introduce console-to-console cross-saves, then that's even more work.
